The trip to kodachari was a last minute decision. Was informed about it when i was having my lunch. Had to rush home to pack things and catch the 8:00 PM bus. The rick was struck in the traffic jam and reached the bus stand just on time, only to find the tickets were still on the way and we made the bus wait for us for about 30 mins.

Day:0: 8:30 PM: Had got the last seats and the road was so pathetic i almost felt as if i was sitting in a roller coaster ride in wonder la.

Day 01: 07:30 AM: Reached Kollur village and got quickly freshened up at the bust stop "infosys" sponsored rest rooms.

Day 01: 11:00 AM: Hired a jeep to take us to the foot of the hill from where we were supposed to start the trek. On the way three of the group started puking on the way. So had to take a couple of stops.

Day 01: 01:00 PM: Started the trek, walked thru some jeep ways to reach in mids of jungle. We were following the directions from some locals. Met some kids returning from school. They refused to guide us and even refused to accept some chocolates. probably instructed by their mom "Dont talk to strangers". Finally managed to get a local guy who agred to help in return of some money. He took us to the water fall. That was the most amazing water fall i had seen on a trek. Had a photo session and then had our lunch. Had some chappaties, pickel, jam and some PJs of Venu and MRPR.

Day 01: 02:30 PM: Started our accend thru the water fall. With out the local guide it would have been impossible for us to find the route. The most dangerous and tedious trek i had taken. I panicked when i saw some 4-5 leaches sucking my blood from my feet. I quickly sprayed some deo and plucked and crushed them. Finally reached to the open land out of the jungle.

Day 01: 04:30 PM: We walked along the edge of the mountains trying to reach the road which leads to the inspection bunglo. We all were totally exhausted by the time we reached the road. Now we did not know if we had to take right or left on the road. Luckily we got some cellphone signal there. We called up a Satish who had trekked on the same route last week. He gave us the correct directions. We started the final climb, stopping at almost every 10 mins.

Day 01: 06:30 PM: Finally we reached the top of the inspection bungalo. There was another group there already. We relaxed for sometime, got freshed and changed into some fresh cloths.

Day 01: 07:30 PM: Set up a camp fire with some Vat69 bottles. The fun stared with the intoxicated PJs and jokes. All were "tun" by 10:00 PM. MRPR was totally out and was sitting on the stairs of the room where we had dinner. Sandeep washed his hands on him as it was totally dark. MRPR dint even realized what happened to him. Then we had our dinner and went to sleep by 11:00 PM.

Day 02: 08:30 AM: Had a coup of coffee? tea? and then started for the peak of the mountain. It was around 1 KM and took us around 2-3 hrs to go and come back. Took some snaps on top of the peak and returned.

Day 02: 11:00 AM: started our descend down the mountain.
